Premier 15s set to return from two-week Covid-19 suspension

The league continued in lockdown regardless of no testing for the gamers

The Premier 15s league returns this weekend following a two-week suspension to assist cut back the unfold of Covid-19.

The Rugby Soccer Union is introducing a twice-weekly lateral circulation testing programme for membership gamers and workers.

Rearranged matches between Exeter Chiefs and Saracens, and Gloucester-Hartpury and DMP Durham Sharks, will happen on Saturday, 30 January.

A full programme of video games – spherical 11 – will resume on 6 February, with additional fixtures scheduled for as much as spherical 14.

Dates for rounds 15-18, the semi-finals and ultimate will depend upon the timing of the delayed Girls’s Six Nations.

Six Nations organisers are aiming for a spring or summer start, although full particulars should not anticipated till the tip of January.

Along with twice-weekly lateral circulation testing, adapted laws – akin to 35-minute halves – and controlled coaching limiting face-to-face publicity, together with minimising indoor contact, have been launched.

Final season’s Premier 15s was declared null and void due to the pandemic.
