  1. So if Baylor beats Oklahoma in the championship and Georgia loses are they in? I mean it would be a win over the team they barely lost to and it seems they would have more quality wins than Utah. Man 4 team playoffs is a shitshow

  2. Here is a question. What is the difference between beating Baylor once and beating them twice? It is the same teams playing the same game. Wouldn't you expect the team that won before to win again by a similar margin? What does that add to resume. It would be like saying that you worked the same job twice on a resume. How is that a great boost for a team.

  3. It's incredible how over the past two weeks ESPN, SEC Network, and a lot of fans have been saying that LSU should be #1. The only leg LSU had to stand on was their quality wins. Ohio State has now neutralized that argument. In fact, they turned it into their favor, but people are still going to say that LSU deserves to be number 1 outright. If LSU beats Georgia by a touchdown, they will say LSU deserves to be #1, even if Ohio State beats Wisconsin by 31 again. There is way too much bias towards the SEC.

  4. If UGa played Utah and OU today they would be favored over them both. Why then, if UGa loses to LSU, why wouldn't UGa still be better than Utah or OU. Or don't we still want the 4 best teams? My question is why would a loss to #2 LSU make them worse than these two teams all of a sudden?

  5. Alright since everyone is complaining about Cincinnati, for the sake of argument, lets just pretend they aren't even ranked.

    Ohio State=
    Wins over- #8, #10, #14 (Avg 10.5)
    Avg Score- 41-17

    Wins over- #9, #11, #12 (Avg 10.5)
    Avg Score – 37-30

It is really quite clear why Ohio State is number 1, defense. Yes, I do understand Ohio State has not played any elite offenses, LSU has also not played elite defenses. However, Ohio State has proved they can score on elite defenses, LSU has not proved they can stop elite offenses. Checkmate.
