Michigan State soccer lands security AJ Kirk, brother of former Ohio State star

Mel Tucker drew from his previous to construct on Michigan State’s football future.

The Spartans added one other dedication for his or her 2021 recruiting class Tuesday from three-star security AJ Kirk from Archbishop Hoban in Akron, Ohio. The Columbus native is the brother of former Ohio State star security Mike Doss, who performed for the Buckeyes when Tucker was defensive backs coach underneath then-defensive coordinator Mark Dantonio in 2001-02.

Ohio State, Michigan, Notre Dame, Penn State, Minnesota and Kentucky have been among the many groups within the combine for Kirk, based on Rivals.com. Purdue and Nebraska additionally supplied, based on Cleveland.com.

Kirk, who introduced his choice on Instagram, is the 16th dedication to MSU’s 2021 class, Tucker’s first full recruiting cycle since taking up for Dantonio on Feb. 12.

The 6-foot, 200-pound Kirk shouldn’t be rated in 247Sports activities.com’s composite rankings however is graded a three-star prospect by the web site’s grading system. He transferred from Dublin Coffman to perennial energy Hoban this fall.
