MBK: Cougs endure sixth straight loss at Colorado

McKinley Wright IV scored 10 of his 16 factors within the ultimate eight-plus minutes, Jeriah Horne hit Three of 5 from 3-point vary and completed with 15 factors, and Colorado held on for a 70-58 win over Washington State on Wednesday evening.

The Cougars, enjoying with out senior Isaac Bonton — the workforce’s chief in scoring (18.0), assists (3.8) and steals (2.0) resulting from sickness — have misplaced six video games in a row.

Wright made 11 of 11 from the free-throw line and completed with seven assists. Evan Battey added 14 factors for Colorado (13-4, 7-Three Pac-12).

The Cougars (9-7, 2-7) went scoreless for almost six minutes as Colorado scored 20 consecutive factors — together with seven by Horne — to take a 29-11 lead with eight minutes left within the first half.

TJ Bamba scored eight factors in a 10-1 run early within the second half and WSU used a 9-Zero run to trim its deficit to 49-43 with 9 minutes to play, however D’Shawn Schwartz answered with a 3-pointer and the Cougars bought no nearer.

Noah Williams had 15 factors, Bamba completed with 13 and Dishon Jackson fouled out with 12 factors and eight rebounds for Washington State.
