Silas motioned to assistant coach John Lucas to take over the crew as he walked off the ground late within the first quarter. He remained within the locker room for the rest of the primary half.
The Rockets stated Silas was receiving fluids from their medical workers. Lucas continued to function performing coach after they returned to the ground for the third quarter, and Houston finally dominated out Silas for the sport.
“He is OK, he is higher,” Lucas stated. “We have been slowly drifting when Coach left and we misplaced our composure for about 5 minutes after. They only had us at the whole lot.”
Silas, 48, is in his second season in command of Houston and has a 26-73 report. He’s the son of longtime NBA coach and Celtics huge man Paul Silas.
