Ex-FSU coach Bobby Bowden to be launched from hospital after COVID

Legendary former Florida State coach Bobby Bowden is about to be launched from the hospital on Wednesday after a battle with COVID-19, he instructed the Tallahassee Democrat on Tuesday afternoon.

Bowden was transported to a local hospital last week by ambulance simply days after contracting the coronavirus as a precautionary measure.

“I’ve been blessed, actually,” Bowden mentioned, via the Tallahassee Democrat. “Individuals are dying from this.”

Bowden coached at Florida State for 34 seasons from 1976-2009, and led this system to 12 ACC titles and two nationwide championships. He completed with a 304-97-Four file with the Seminoles, and ended his profession with 377 complete wins — the second all time behind solely Joe Paterno. 

Bowden was inducted into the School Soccer Corridor of Fame in 2006.

Bowden hospitalized twice in latest weeks amid COVID-19 battle
