Moroccan city of Casablanca to host CAF Champions league 2021.
South African club side Kaizer Chiefs who eliminated Wydad Casablanca of Morocco 1-0 on aggregate are now hoping for their first continental trophy in a crucial final match on the 17th of July 2021 at the Stade Mohammed in Casablanca Morocco.
Chiefs will now meet Egyptian giants Al Ahly for the trophy after the defending champions beat 10-man Esperance of Tunisia 3-0 in Cairo, 4-0 overall.
Ali Maaloul opened the scoring for Ahly with a penalty in the first half. Esperance left-back Ilyes Chetti was sent-off for his role in the incident. Ahly, who also held a 1-0 first leg advantage over Tunisia’s Esperance, won 3-0 in Egypt to advance 4-0 overall.
The winner of the CAF Champion league next month in Casablanca Morocco will also booked a ticket to represent the continent of Africa in the club world cup in Japan and earn the right to play against the winners of the 2020 21 Confederation cup in the 2021 22 CAF Super cup. This is the 57th edition of Africa’s premier club football tournament organized by the confederation of Africa. (CAF)
