Boston Bruins add Patrice Bergeron to COVID-19 protocol

Boston Bruins ahead Patrice Bergeron has been positioned within the league’s COVID-19 protocol, it was introduced Wednesday.

Bergeron, who scored the Bruins’ lone aim in Tuesday’s 4-1 loss to the Vegas Golden Knights, has 10 targets and 13 assists this season.

The transfer comes sooner or later after the group positioned forwards Brad Marchand and Craig Smith within the protocol and 4 days after the Bruins performed the Calgary Flames, who’ve had their subsequent three video games postponed amid a surge of gamers, coaches and help workers being added to the protocol.
