MADISON, Wis. (AP) — Wisconsin has named Ross Kolodziej line of defense coach after he served as this system’s head energy and conditioning coach during the last six seasons.
Badgers coach Paul Chryst introduced the promotion Wednesday.
Kolodziej replaces Inoke Breckterfield, who had been Wisconsin’s line of defense coach for the final six seasons. Breckterfield left to take the identical place at Vanderbilt on new Commodores coach Clark Lea’s workers.
Kolodziej is a former Wisconsin defensive lineman who made 45 profession begins and performed on the Badgers’ 1998 and 1999 groups that reached the Rose Bowl. He was within the NFL from 2001-07 with the New York Giants, San Francisco 49ers, Minnesota Vikings and Arizona Cardinals.
He joined Chryst’s workers at Pittsburgh in 2013 as an assistant energy and conditioning coach and was promoted to go energy coach a 12 months later. He adopted Chryst to Wisconsin in 2015.
