Alabama hires ex-Jaguars coach Doug Marrone as assistant
TUSCALOOSA, Ala. — Alabama coach Nick Saban has added one other former NFL head coach to his offensive workers.
Saban introduced the hiring of ex-Jacksonville Jaguars and Buffalo Payments coach Doug Marrone to teach the offensive line. Marrone joins new offensive coordinator and former Houston Texans and Penn State coach Bill O’Brien.
Marrone spent 4 years main the Jaguars, taking them to the AFC Championship Recreation within the 2017 season. He spent two seasons because the Payments head coach from 2013-14.
